Change Network Mode
In order to use this device with GSM networks you will need to follow the instructions below.
Go to Settings > Networks > Mobile Networks
Tap on Network mode and select the following option:
GSM/UMTS (auto connect) or Global
Please Note: This will change the default network mode from CDMA to GSM for voice and text. In order to set your device up with your carrier's mobile data settings you will need to configure your APN settings. Please see the Android APN setup for mobile data.
Kindly follow the below instructions in order to adjust your DTMF for dialing while in-call.
Note: Dual-tone multi-frequency (DTMF) tones are used by automated dial-in systems such as Voice Mail or where prompts are used to navigate.
From a home screen, tap Phone Home screen Phone icon (located in the lower left).
Note If unavailable, navigate: Apps > Phone.
From the Keypad tab, tap Menu Menu icon (located in the upper right).
Tap DTMF tones.
Tap one of the following:
Remove Verizon Sim Error Message
Kindly follow the below steps to remove the Verizon sim card error message:
Go to Settings/Applications/Applications Manager/Running
Turn off all Verizon Apps
Turn off Activation Agent
Kindly perform the below steps in order to program your phone number for voicemail speed dial.
Go to contacts, settings, call, voice mail settings, change the number to your phone number.
